Gluten-Free Stuffed Turkey

You can enjoy a tasty, gluten-free stuffed turkey thats great for a holiday or special occasion. This recipe makes a tasty cauliflower rice stuffing with fragrant herbs. Its a low-carb and keto-friendly option for your meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole turkey 12-14 pounds
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 325F 165C

Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat

Put in the minced garlic and diced onion and saut until the onion is soft

Cut up some mushrooms and spinach and add them to the cauliflower rice

For about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft, cook

Add salt, pepper, rosemary, sage, and dried thyme

Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit

Rinse the turkey inside and out and pat it dry with paper towels

Season the inside with pepper and salt

Put the ready-made stuffing mixture inside the turkey

Use kitchen twine to connect the legs

In a roasting pan, put the stuffed turkey on a roasting rack

Butter should be brushed all over the turkey

Loosely cover the turkey with foil and roast it in a hot oven for three to three and a half hours, or until the thickest part of the thigh reaches 165F 75C

Take off the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to let the skin get brown

Take it out of the oven when its done and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes before carving
